Similar species: Superficially recalls Sarota species but many details differ; no Sarota has a conspicuous white patch in FW. Compare also with A. principalis.

Fairly common up to 1100 m. Attracted to bait. I'm not sure which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.

Similar species: Most similar to A. kupris, but V margins differ: kupris has more continuous red markings, and the silver within them and much more limited.
