Similar species: Wing shape intermediate between L. tellane and others; I believe it is also the smallest Leodonta.

Uncommon(?) at 3150 m., probably higher and lower. Visits flowers and puddles. I don't know which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: I don't know how to distinguish this species from L. dysoni; see other species for their distinguishing features.

Uncommon 1450-1500 m., probably higher and lower. Usually found puddling; also visits flowers. I don't know which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
