Perisama canoma
Common 1350-2250 m. Puddles, attracted to bait. I'm not sure which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: P. paralicia has a straight discal line VHW. Compare D to P. dorbignyi jurinei and P. lebasii hilara; both have wider marginal lines DHW.
Perisama dorbignyi jurinei
Common 1350-2250 m. Puddles, attracted to bait.
Similar species: P. canoma has similar D, but dorbignyi has a much wider marginal line DHW.
Perisama paralicia
Rare at 1200-1950 m. Puddles. I'm not sure which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: P. canoma has a wavy discal line VHW. Mesotaenia vaninka has a smoothly curved submarginal line VHW.
Perisama humboldtii tringa
Common 1350-2250 m. Puddles, attracted to bait.
Similar species: Both P. comnena comnena and P. vitringa can have post-discal spots VHW; best identified by D pattern.
Perisama comnena comnena
Common 1350-2150 m. Puddles, attracted to bait.
Similar species: V can be very similar to P. vitringa, which has a more broken discal band DFW. See also P. humboldtii tringa.
Perisama vitringa
Fairly common 1100-2250 m. Puddles, attracted to bait. I don't know which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: See P. comnena comnena.
Perisama philinus philinus
Common 1000-3100 m. Puddles, attracted to bait.
Similar species: V very similar to P. tristrigosa but is usually paler; best identified by completely different D. See also P. calamis.
Perisama tristrigosa
Uncommon 1800(lower?)-2150 m. Puddles, attracted to bait.
Similar species: V virtually identical to P. philinus but usually has contrasting darker areas on yellow ground colour; best identified by D.
