Necyria bellona whitelyiana
Common 1100-2150 m. Puddles, attracted to bait. Red or pink markings on male D are variable. Females are much more rarely seen. Individuals from N areas (like the one shown from Alto Combamayo) might represent a different subspecies; the female shown (from Pasco) is probably subspecies ahrenholzi, which could be found in N parts of Cusco.
