Euselasia eutychus
Uncommon up to 700 m.; probably more common in lowlands. Males perch under leaves at edges of open areas, especially in the morning(?). Occasionally attracted to bait.
Similar species: Distinguished from (all?) similar species (I have no Cusco records of them) by the yellow 'face' (scales around the eyes).
Euselasia euodias
Uncommon up to 1100 m. Attracted to bait. I don't know which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: HW tornus elongated, unlike E. orba. I'm not surehow to distinguish this species from E. issoria (I have no Cusco records) except by a complete D view.
Euselasia murina
Fairly common(?) up to 1050 m. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: See E. midas and E. kartopus.
Euselasia teleclus
Uncommon(?) up to 800 m. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: Very similar to E. archelaus; I think teleclus may have a smaller orange patch DFW, but this could be variable (by sex?).
Euselasia midas
Rare(?) up to 1500 m. Attracted to bait. I'm not sure which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: May have a straighter V post-median line than E. murina, but I'm not confident identifying the two species. See also E. kartopus, which has V more richly coloured.
