Dismorphia crisia
Fairly common at 1350 m., probably higher and lower. Attracted to bait; visits flowers. I don't know which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: Larger than other white Dismorphia, and with more black on D. See D. teresa.
Dismorphia teresa
Uncommon at 2250 m. Visits flowers.
Similar species: Narrower wings than D. crisia, and darker D and V; note especially dark blue on VFW.
Dismorphia thermesia
Uncommon up to 700 m. Puddles and visits flowers. I'm not sure which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco; the female shown from Brazil is likely a different subspecies.
Similar species: Very similar to D. thermesina but found at lower elevations.
Dismorphia thermesina
Fairly common 1150-1500 m. Puddles and visits flowers; occasionally attracted to bait. I'm not sure which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco
Similar species: Very similar to D. thermesia but found at higher elevations; some (females?) are tinged yellow, unlike thermesia(?).
