Opsiphanes cassiae strophios

Uncommon(?) up to at least 1350 m. Most active at dawn and dusk.

Similar species: DHW lacks orange border shown by other Opsiphanes. I cannot identify most Opsiphanes from the V.

Opsiphanes invirae agasthenes

Rare(?) up to 850 m. Attracted to bait. Probably most active at dawn and dusk.

Similar species: Very similar to O. cassina cassina (I have no Cusco records); I'm not confident separating them but cassina probably has a much stronger orange cell-end marking DHW.

Similar species: Split orange band DFW is distinctive.

Opsiphanes mutatus parodizi

Fairly common 1050-1550 m. Attracted to bait and mud. Seems more likely than other Opsiphanes to be active throughout the day(?).

Similar species: Scalloped margin of HW shared only with O. quiteria (I have no Cusco records) which has a less irregular orange band DFW and a much narrower orange border DHW.
