Lasiophila lucuma
Uncommon(?) very locally at 3600 m. Puddles.
Similar species: HW shape, with two tails, only similar to L. piscina which is much browner on V and has white patches DHW.
Lasiophila orbifera
Common 1450-2800 m.; most common above 2000 m. By far the most common Lasiophila in Cusco. Puddles, and attracted to bait. I don't know which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: Most similar to L. luna but note dark patch VHW narrows at costa, and black submarginal spots DHW are not surrounded by dark veins, among other differences..
Lasiophila piscina
Locally common(?) 2700-3500 m. Attracted to bait and mud.
Similar species: White patches DHW are distinctive in our area. Compare V with L. lucuma, which is much greyer.
Lasiophila luna
Uncommon 2700-2950 m. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: Compare with L. orbifera, which lacks black veins in submarginal area DHW among other differences.
