Eunica caralis
Uncommon up to 1050 m.. Attracted to bait and mud. I'm not sure which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: V is almost completely unmarked, unlike others; most similar to E. sydonia sydonia.
Eunica sydonia sydonia
Uncommon(?) up to 2400 m., probably mostly much lower. Attracted to bait and mud.
Similar species: Plainer on V than most other species, except E. caralis which is basically unmarked. Note also truncate FW apex.
Eunica chlororhoa
Uncommon at 850-1050 m., probably not in lowlands. Puddles, attracted to bait. I'm not sure which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco.
Similar species: E. sophonisba (I have no Cusco records; it is found in lowlands) has similar V, but has brilliant blue instead of pale greenish-blue on DHW margin.
