Rare(?) up to 1100 m. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: D. carnica (I have no Cusco records) is similar but the post-median line at the costa VHW is mid-way between wing base and marginal markings; in iambe it is closer to the marginal markings than the base. See also Hypostrymon asa.
