Denivia hemon
Uncommon up to 1050 m., probably more common in lowlands. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: Male is similar to male Lucilda danaus, which lacks the blue discal dash in space 6 VHW, and has the bottom half of VFW much duller blue, barely contrasting with the rest of the wing.
Denivia phegeus
Uncommon(?) up to 1100 m. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: Both sexes similar to D. lisus but post-median line VHW is more continuous; phegeus is mostly found at lower elevations, but with overlap around 1000 m.
Denivia arene
Rare 1050-1350 m. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: VHW spots blue, rather than green as in D. monica; best seen on more basal spot in space 6.
Denivia monica
Uncommon at 1050-1100 m., probably lower and higher. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: See D. arene.
Denivia lisus
Fairly common 1050-1100 m., probably higher. Attracted to bait.
Similar species: Compare with D. phegeus; both sexes of lisus show two isolated blue spots at end of cell VHW, and are darker overall on V.
