Uncommon(?) up to 550 m. Puddles. I'm not sure which subspecies occur(s) in Cusco; the individual shown from San Martin could represent a different subspecies.

Mysoria cosinga cosinga

Fairly common, occasionally abundant, at 3100-3900 m. Attracted to mud and flowers. Highly variable, but markings are red or orange, not yellow. Locally occurs together with ssp. catana but usually found in drier habitats, further from humid E slopes.
