Uncommon up to 1050 m. Puddles; attracted to bait. Identifying most Microceris species without examining the genetalia is virtually impossible on current knowledge.
Similar species: Resembles Jemadia, Parelbella, and Protelbella species, but only Microceris has a single post-discal hyaline spot FW.
